We've already looked at two easy steps every dieter should to do after breaking diet's rules (Part I), discuss how to find our true reasons why we want to lose weight (Part II) and why it is so important to know those reasons. But it is still not enough to put us back on track towards achieving a weight loss goal. Let's see what else we can do.

What If It Does Not Work For Me?

It is absolutely normal if it doesn’t work. You can imagine all the positive things in your mind; more energy, positive thinking, healthy eating and living, staying active, looking good, and all of this still might not be enough to put you back on track. You can even say you do not want to waist your time thinking or dreaming about the future. Guess what? You are already wasting your time by having this kind of attitude.

A wedding day is approaching and your weight is the same and you might even gain more weight before the actual day. Your kids are growing up and you can’t play football, ride a bike or go hiking with them, because you are overweight and you don’t have the energy you need. You better not be alone because your lack of commitment won't bring you new friendships or a new relationship. It is not possible to become happier and fit by spending all your time in front of a television or computer and uncontrollably consuming junk food. You can’t pretend to live the life of one of the television characters and ride their positive and negative emotions during the episode. You will have to come back to the reality that your life is filled with negative feelings of you blaming, criticizing, struggling, and procrastinating.

Is it enough for you to start doing something? Not yet? Are you still thinking that all of the above is a waste of your time? Don't you think that staying overweight is a waist of time in itself?

According to a report in 2013 from Columbia University, one in five deaths are linked to being overweight or obese. Our life is too short to waste. We have only one life to live and only we can choose what we want to do with it. It is true that we all die, but while we are living we can either destroy our lives or create it into something amazing. It is our choice.

I hope your eyes were closed when you saw your life without any change. If not, then try again and really try to imagine everything and see what can happen.
