Even though we agreed that making the commitment would be the first new thing of my four week challenge, I decided to do a real thing on the first day which was walking across the Manhattan Bridge.

For the last seven years I was taking subway over that bridge and I've never walked across the Manhattan Bridge. The idea about walking across the bridge were living in my head for about two years. I've never accomplished it always finding a reasonable excuse to procrastinate on getting it done. It was too cold/hot, rainy, I was too tired, the time wasn't perfect... Many excuses and no actions.

I walked across the bridge from Manhattan side to Brooklyn on the first day of my commitment to do one new thing every day for four weeks before I turn 30. The view of the City is very unique and interesting from the bridge. You can see the skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. The whether was really nice and warm for October. It was 72°F! Not sunny, but really pleasant. I really enjoyed the walk.

Shhhhhhhhhh! I can share a big secret with you, the bridge is not touristic at all, there is almost nobody there! I don't know another sights of New York City like that. I really enjoyed my walk across the bridge.
